 The Ethiopia/Africa Black International Congress, Church of Salvation recently celebrated our fiftieth year jubilee on the first of March 2008 at our Headquarters, 10 miles Bull Bay and at our other offices throughout the world; more so Ghana, Ethiopia, Bahamas, Saint Croix, New York, Miami etc.

The Congress was founded on the first of March 1958, at 54B Spanish Town Road Kingston 14 by our worthy Founder, Leader, President, Jah and King: King Emmanuel Charles Edwards, the only Black Christ that speaks from the ends of the earth Kingston Jamaica.

 

The goals and objectives of the congress were Freedom, Redemption and international Repatriation and Reparation to land every one under their own vine and fig tree in righteousness of salvation. Ethiopia/Africa for those at home and those abroad, China for the Chinese, India for the Indians, Europe for the Europeans and the Americas and the Caribbean for the Red Indians and the Careless Ethiopians/Africans.

 

On the first of March 1958, the Black Christ invited guests from all over North and South America to the international conference seminar on International Repatriation and reparation for the Royal Ethiopian/African Refugees in exile through slavery and the slave trade. He called for seven, nine or thirteen miles of Black Star Liner high water ships. The Right Honorable Marcus Garvey called for seven miles of ships and our Father King Emmanuel, the Black Christ, the first anointed teacher, Jes-us of Nazareth the Black King of the Jews    

 

At the conference seminar over three thousand people were present. The main idea behind the conference seminar was to continue the reasoning for as long as possible. This would help to draw the attention of the people locally, regionally and internationally to our struggle for Human rights, that is the right to a nationality. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights established by the United Nation gave all of us Ethiopians in exile through slavery the right to demand repatriation and compensation.

 

The congress in 1958 also establish the rules and procedures in the form a constitution, that is the blue print to guide us. Hence one can say that the Congress centralized the work of Rastafari. Policies were established with respect to: dress code, a Church cal order, state cal order, governmental  order, parliament cal order and Sabbath cal  order.

 

The Congress teaches that Jah comes in three persons; Blessed Trinity and all powers, Prophet, Priest and King. The Most Right Honorable Marcus Garvey the fore runner of the Black Christ came in the darker days, when the evil world drowned black people in their cesspool of imperialism and colonialism. Marcus Garvey removed the doubt and afraid from out of the black peoples hearts and replaced it with self confidence, self reliance. He said with confidence you have won even before you have started Hence Without the Prophet Marcus Garvey the Black people living in and outside of Ethiopia/Africa would have no vision.
